One of my favorite fast food restaurant. The food is good and you get large portions. I do recommend not going later in evening as I have found the food to not taste fresh when it gets close to closing time and sometimes they don't have some of their selections available unless you request it and they then have to start cooking what is out.
This Panda Express is hit and miss in terms of quality. We came here and the Kung pao and string bean chicken breast looked deceptively fresh. Upon receipt of our two panda bowls we found my Kung pao was devoid of veg and my husband's string bean chicken breast was mostly old shriveled string beans rather than the fresh ones that had been on top in the buffet line. This leads me to believe that the staff simply dumped fresh product on top of old. Anyone who works food, particularly someone with basic sanitation training and especially someone with a servsafe, knows this is a huge no-no. On top of that the side vegetables were withered and dry. We both chose chow mean instead. We came because we both wanted some veg with our food. Panda Express is probably the only fast food place in the Papillion/Bellevue area where you can get vegetables that aren't fried as a side. Bottom line is we came for a specific item and didn't get on top of poor food sanitation practices.
I stood at the counter a good 5-8 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence even though they made eye contact several times. Finally got my food and when I was eating it wasn't fresh tasting. Like the chicken was over cooked and tuff and the chow mien was cold. Not impressed.
Good food, friendly staff, generous portions and pretty easy to get to. The prices are reasonable and the place was clean.
